Three charts: clothing, boots and bags. If you are between sizes, take the larger — our knitwear and outerwear are cut generously through the shoulder.

Clothing (XS–XL)

Mrs Melvis clothing is sized XS to XL. The table below maps our sizes to standard German, UK and US womenswear sizes.

Coats, jackets and capes are cut to layer over a knit, so take your usual size unless the product page says otherwise. Each product page carries its own fit note.

How to measure yourself

• Bust — around the fullest part, tape level under the arms.
• Waist — around the narrowest part, usually just above the navel.
• Hip — around the fullest part, roughly 20 cm below the waist.

Measure over underwear, not over clothing, and keep the tape snug but not tight.

Boots (EU 35–43)

Our boots run EU 35 to 43 and fit true to size. The conversion below is the standard European to UK and US women's scale.

How to measure your foot

Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall, mark the tip of your longest toe, and measure from the wall to the mark. Measure both feet in the afternoon and use the larger figure.

Knee-high boots and calf width

Our knee-high styles — Noelle Slouch, Amaris Fold-Over and Celestine — are cut with a shaft that sits just below the knee. To check the fit, measure around the widest part of your calf with the tape snug. If your calf measurement is at the upper end of the usual range, the Noelle Slouch is the most forgiving shape because the shaft is designed to ruche.

The Lucie bags come in three sizes.
